Well done to the FluxBB development team for releasing FluxBB 1.4.0
FluxBB 1.4.0 is based on FluxBB 1.2, but adds a bunch of features and improvements, some of which were taken from the legacy 1.3 branch.
Updates:
* Full UTF-8 support.
* Split / merge topics.
* Improved unread topics tracking.
* Improved localization, including a translatable admin interface, language tweaks and date display improvements.
* SSL support for SMTP.
* Plus much more.
Upgrade Info:
The update script supports upgrading from FluxBB 1.2.*, FluxBB 1.3 Legacy, as well as PunBB 1.2.* and PunBB 1.3.*. While the update script has been tested in all situations we can think of, you should of course make backups of both your forum files and your database before the update.

Just a heads up that PunBB Resource will be having a huge update to the site in the next few weeks (was delayed due to a new baby arriving).
Registration suspended for next 48 hours. This is due to the 300+ accounts created daily for spam abuse.
If you urgently need to register then you can contact me personally at stevenbullen[at]gmail[.]com to sort out a login.
EDIT: Registration has now been turned back on (for the moment).
I've posted a blog post over at the PunBB dev blog about how PunRes will adapt to 1.3 and it's extension system:

Perhaps a tad late, but a happy new year to all of you nonetheless!

Last night, it seems someone got access to the FTP and altered some key files. What this code did was attacking you and tried to install a trojan on your computer. However, it seems only users of IE6 where targeted.
The files have been replaced from backup and the site no longer poses a threat to you. We'll keep monitor the situation and are investigating it.
We deeply apologize for this inconvenience.
Update: The trojan that tried to infect you was a variant of JS/TrojanDownloader.Psyme.HX. By the looks of it, no vulnerability in PunBB was used in the attack, so you don't have to worry about that.
